Kettlebells are the most efficient and effective workout and are quickly gaining
momentum as the current most popular workout tool today.
What sets kettlebells apart from other forms of exercise?
- The shape of the kettlebell and the use of a handle creates a unique placement for the center
of gravity engaging many more muscle groups at one time, resulting in explosive and powerful
movements.
- The high intensity interval training of the kettlebell allows for increased fat loss and develops
more strength and muscle tone in less time than other conventional resistance training and
cardio routines.
- Flexibility and a greater range of joint motion is another feature of regular kettlebell
training as well as the development of a stronger core. The abdominal and back
muscles work together to become stronger without putting additional stress on the spine.
In addition to our regularly scheduled kettlebell classes, Transformations offers
individual kettlebell personal training by certified trainers and monthly Kettelbell Basics
Workshops.
We challenge you to test your endurance and strength by entering our quarterly
Kettlebell Competition. We offer four events; The Triathalon, The Clean and Press,
The Swing and The Snatch. Details posted in the studio.
For the seasoned kettlebell girevik and/or personal trainer, Transformations is offering
kettlebell certification. The 6 week certification course incorporates both lecture and
lab work. A written and practical exam are required for acquiring TKC (Transformations
Kettlebell Certification).
