Transformations Movement Company, LLC offers programs to men and women of all ages and ability levels. We take the time to get to know each of our members personally in order to assist them with integrating health and wellness into their daily lives.
We offer a variety of classes to challenge and motivate our members. High energy group exercise classes such as, "Zumba", Cardio Kickboxing, Cardio Hip Hop & Abs, Kettlebells, Boot Camp, Running Club, and more are available. Focused practice in Yoga and Pilates balance out the offerings. One on one personal training and nutritional coaching as well as weekend health and wellness workshops complete our mission.

Zumba is fantastic! I think it’s a great core workout and so much fun. I love the moves; I don’t feel like I

I love the kettle bell class-. I have never done a class where I have felt so many muscles in my body at
work. After the end of each class I feel energized and I feel good about pushing myself to the limit!
I can not explain how much more I enjoy working out since I started taking classes at Transformations
Movement Company. I was stuck in such a fitness rut before, 45 min on the elliptical or 45 min runs, all
of which bored me, neither of which I enjoyed but I had to do something. Now I look forward to my
classes, because I meet up with my friends and get a good workout too! I don't see the hour pass in the
class! The teachers are great and very friendly! I have nothing but praise! Well done!
Zumba has transformed my life! I have changed my body; my physique is fit and my arms are
muscular! I became certified and now teach Zumba myself!
I love Transformations! Everyone is so friendly, warm and accepting. I have never experienced this
type of atmosphere in a fitness club before!
So many people I have known most of my life have been complementing me on my body. They all
say I look so fit. My arms are toned and my legs are so muscular; something I never achieved before.
My favorite body part is my strong, muscular back!
People want to know how I get my butt so tight....I tell them kettlebells!
Since coming to yoga classes at TMC for the past year, I have lost 8 pounds, I feel wonderful, my health
has improved and I have become much more flexible. Most importantly, I never felt intimidated at
TMC; the instructors and members are so encouraging and supportive.

















November Instructor of the Month ~ Jackie Hughes
December Instructor of the Month ~ Marybeth Feeney
Marybeth began teaching yoga about two years ago. Initially, she enrolled
in Yoga yoga teacher training to simply find out more about yoga, not exactly
teach it. She wanted to know all the ins and outs of yoga to help her
understand why and how it made her feel so good. Along the way she was
encouraged to teach and started subbing for other yoga instructors. She grew
to love teaching yoga more than her profession in the music industry and
transitioned into a full time career in Yoga. She has since gone on to create
Boogie Down Yoga, a fusion of yoga poses to the beat of pop music.
In addition, Marybeth still dabbles in the Music industry and has won first
runner up in Irish Idol and has auditioned for American Idol.
Marybeth's Advice to Members: When beginning a yoga practice, take it
slow, keep your mind and body on your mat (meaning don’t care about what
your neighbor looks like in their yoga pose).
Jackie began teaching Zumba about a year ago after being introduced
Zumba through her friend Danielle. After going to one class she was
hooked for life. She wanted to start working out, but found she was not
motivated going to the gym. Once she started Zumba, she did not want to
stop. Danielle convinced her to get certified. After being certified the
opportunity to teach at Transformations came up and she jumped at it. At
the end of her day in a corporate position as an HR Benefits Consultant
and Analyst, Jackie unwinds by teaching Zumba and practicing
kettlebells. Recently Jackie participated in a Master Class
with Beto, the creator of Zumba. She will soon be featured
in an upcoming Zumba ZIN DVD. Congratulations Jackie!
Jackie's Advice to Members: Find a workout that you really enjoy.
Don’t be afraid to try new classes, especially at Transformations. If
you need help working on your goals, then ask an instructor or talk to
Kathleen or Marty. We are here to help you succeed with your
personal goals. If you take a class and enjoy it, but feel
uncomfortable…GO BACK AND TRY IT AGAIN. I promise that by
the 3rd time you will feel more comfortable and after a couple
months you’ll be the pro!!
Beto & Jackie
January & February Instructor of the Month ~ Diane Baird
Diane began personal training about three years ago. She was always
interested in health and fitness and enjoyed helping others to get fit. After
the first season of "The Biggest Loser" was aired, Diane was motivated to
enroll in the National Personal Training Institute and become a personal
trainer. Diane is also a runner and has run several marathons including
Chicago and Boston. Her latest passion, kettlebells, has been evolving over
the past several years and she has also become a certified kettlebell
instructor. Diane enjoys training people of all ages from children to adults
as well as all ability levels. Diane is a mother of two children and she
stresses the importance of keeping kids healthy and fit.
Diane's Advice to Members: Set small goals in order to reach
your biggest goal. Consider it a lifestyle change and not a
temporary thing. Only YOU can make this difference, no one else!
